Key Responsibilities

• Retouch and enhance photographs according to project briefs and client specifications, ensuring high-quality output that meets our standards and exceeds client expectations.
• Utilize photo editing software, primarily Adobe Photoshop, to perform a range of tasks including but not limited to noise reduction, color correction, and blemish removal.
• Collaborate with designers, art directors, and photographers to understand project requirements and ensure that retouched images meet the creative vision and technical specifications of each project.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines, managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.
• Maintain detailed records of work completed, including before-and-after comparisons of retouched images, for reference and quality control purposes.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in photo retouching, continuously improving skills and knowledge to contribute to the team's expertise and the company's competitiveness.
• Participate in team meetings and feedback sessions, providing constructive input on projects and processes to ensure continuous improvement and high-quality results.
• Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with the company's quality standards, copyright laws, and ethical guidelines, maintaining the integrity and professionalism of VizionPlus.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and guidelines for photo retouching within the company, helping to establish and maintain high standards across all projects.
• Provide training and support to junior team members as needed, sharing knowledge and expertise to foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Be adaptable and flexible, willing to learn new software and technologies as required by the evolving needs of the company and its clients.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management, demonstrating a proactive and positive attitude towards contributing to the success of the company.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, with extensive experience in using its tools and features for photo retouching and enhancement.
• A portfolio that showcases a strong understanding of visual aesthetics, composition, and the ability to enhance images while maintaining their natural appeal.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide clear feedback.
• Knowledge of color theory, lighting, and texture, with an understanding of how these elements contribute to the overall quality and impact of an image.
• Familiarity with other design and photo editing software, such as Lightroom and Illustrator, is an asset but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to adapt to new challenges and opportunities as they arise.
• A strong passion for photography and visual arts, with a continuous desire to learn and improve skills in photo retouching and related areas.
• A degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Photography, or a related field, although not mandatory, is considered an advantage.
