About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a critical product and needs a Cybersecurity Analyst to elevate its test automation framework. You will design and implement security‑focused automated tests that catch regression issues early, ensuring a secure launch.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current test suites and identify security gaps
• Develop Python scripts to automate vulnerability scans and regression checks
• Integrate automated security tests into CI pipelines on Linux environments
• Collaborate with dev and QA teams to prioritize risk remediation
• Document test results and provide actionable insights

Must-have skills

• Strong knowledge of security testing methodologies
• Proficiency in Python for automation
• Hands‑on experience with Linux systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and test frameworks

Nice to have

• Experience with container security
• Knowledge of OWASP testing standards
• Background in cloud security assessments
