About the role

We are looking for a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will help safeguard our clients' data and infrastructure by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing robust security measures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security assessments and penetration testing on cloud and on‑prem environments
• Monitor alerts, investigate incidents, and provide timely remediation
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and documentation
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines
• Stay updated on emerging threats and recommend improvements

Must-have skills

• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and best practices
• Hands‑on experience with vulnerability scanning and incident response
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and threat hunting
