DevOps Engineer – Cloud Migration

About the role

NexGen Media is expanding its streaming infrastructure and needs a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with development and operations teams to automate deployments, ensure high availability, and optimize cloud resources.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Design, implement, and monitor CI/CD workflows for micro‑services
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes
• Maintain and secure AWS environments, including IAM, VPC, and monitoring
• Troubleshoot performance issues and implement cost‑effective solutions

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS services
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
• Hands‑on CI/CD pipeline creation (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Infrastructure‑as‑code expertise
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
• Familiarity with serverless architectures
