About the role

Vertex Analytics is enhancing its operations data pipeline to deliver real‑time analytics to cross‑functional teams. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, deploy, and fine‑tune containerized workloads that power our analytics stack.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement Kubernetes clusters for scalable ETL jobs
• Containerize data ingestion services using Docker and maintain image registries
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines to automate rollout of analytics micro‑services
• Monitor cluster health, performance metrics, and cost‑efficiency
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure secure data flow and compliance

Must-have skills

• Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Strong grasp of DevOps principles and tooling (Helm, ArgoCD, GitOps)
• Ability to troubleshoot networking, storage, and scaling issues in containers

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data pipeline frameworks (Airflow, Prefect)
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and managed Kubernetes services
• Knowledge of observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana)
