Key Responsibilities
- Format documents according to Axon Media Solutions' brand guidelines and style sheets
- Prepare documents for publication, including editing and proofreading for content, grammar, and punctuation
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to ensure consistency and quality in all documents
- Utilize Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to create and edit documents
- Apply templates and styles to documents to ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines
- Perform data entry tasks, including updating and maintaining databases and spreadsheets
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, including responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of documents, including version control and archiving
- Participate in project planning and coordination, including setting deadlines and prioritizing tasks
- Contribute to the development and implementation of document management processes and procedures
- Perform quality control checks on documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in document formatting and preparation
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and engaging documents
- Utilize project management tools, including Asana and Trello, to track progress and deadlines
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with document formatting and preparation, including editing and proofreading
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and consistency in all documents
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and outside the box
- Experience with data entry and database management, including updating and maintaining records
- Knowledge of document management processes and procedures, including version control and archiving
- Certification in document formatting or a related field, such as editing or proofreading
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems
