We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Simple Translator who can work independently and collaboratively as part of our team. Key Responsibilities

• Translate documents, articles, and other materials from one language to another, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural sensitivity.
• Review and edit translated materials to ensure that they meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
• Conduct research to stay up-to-date with new terminology, language trends, and cultural developments that may impact translation projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, linguists, and other stakeholders to ensure that translation projects are completed on time and to the satisfaction of clients.
• Develop and maintain glossaries, style guides, and other linguistic resources to support translation projects.
• Participate in quality control processes to ensure that translated materials meet the required standards of quality and accuracy.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving translation processes and workflows.
• Stay current with industry developments, new technologies, and best practices in translation and localization.
• Assist with the development of new translation projects, including project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that projects are delivered to their satisfaction.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and other activities to support the growth and development of the company.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products, services, and values, and apply this knowledge to support the development of translation projects.
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with the recruitment, training, and mentoring of new team members, as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, languages, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a translator, preferably in a professional setting.
• Excellent language skills in the source and target languages, with a strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and idiomatic expressions.
• Proficiency in computer-assisted translation tools, such as memoQ, Trados, or similar software.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to stay up-to-date with new terminology and cultural developments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers, linguists, and other stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy in all aspects of translation work.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Experience with quality control processes and procedures, including editing, proofreading, and testing.
• Familiarity with industry-specific terminology and concepts, such as technology, healthcare, or finance.
