About the role

Pinnacle Works is launching a new data‑intensive product that relies on a robust GraphQL layer to serve multiple front‑end clients. We need a focused developer to design, implement, and optimize the GraphQL API, ensuring high performance and seamless integration with existing services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop GraphQL schemas and resolvers
• Integrate GraphQL with existing REST endpoints and micro‑services
• Write clean, testable NodeJS code and maintain CI pipelines
• Collaborate with front‑end engineers to define data requirements
• Monitor performance and implement caching strategies

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building GraphQL APIs
• Proficiency in React for client‑side data consumption
• Solid NodeJS development background
• Understanding of REST API concepts and integration

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Apollo Server or similar tooling
• Experience with TypeScript
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT)
