Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, engaging, and interactive game features using Unity, ensuring performance, stability, and compatibility across various platforms.
• Collaborate with the design team to implement game mechanics, levels, and user interfaces that meet the project's creative vision and technical requirements.
• Work closely with artists to integrate assets, animations, and visual effects into the game, ensuring seamless interaction and optimal performance.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to the improvement of the codebase, and adhere to best practices for coding standards, documentation, and version control.
• Utilize profiling tools to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring the game runs smoothly on a range of hardware configurations.
• Contribute to the development of tools and workflows that enhance the efficiency and productivity of the development team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Unity and related technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve game development processes and outcomes.
• Coordinate with QA to identify, reproduce, and resolve bugs and issues, ensuring the highest quality gaming experience.
• Participate in planning and estimation, providing input on the feasibility and complexity of proposed features and tasks.
• Collaborate with the project management team to set goals, prioritize tasks, and meet project milestones and deadlines.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation of game features, systems, and tools, ensuring that knowledge is shared and accessible across the team.
• Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced team members, contributing to their growth and development.
• Engage in post-launch analysis and updates, incorporating feedback from players and stakeholders to enhance the game and plan future content.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Unity (2018 or later), with a strong understanding of its features, limitations, and best practices.
• Excellent programming skills in C#, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Experience with Unity's physics engine, animation system, and rendering pipeline.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (preferably Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Passion for gaming and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to polish and refine game features to a high standard.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience with debugging and profiling tools, and a systematic approach to identifying and resolving issues.
