About the role

Summit Digital is preparing a coordinated mobile and backend launch for an upcoming app store release. We need an iOS App Developer who can bridge the front‑end experience with our server APIs, ensuring smooth feature roll‑outs and rapid iteration.

Key responsibilities

• Implement new UI screens in Swift, adhering to Apple design guidelines
• Integrate and test REST API endpoints for data sync and authentication
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define contract changes and troubleshoot issues
• Write unit and UI tests to maintain code quality
• Participate in sprint planning and deliver increments on schedule

Must-have skills

• Proficiency in Swift and iOS SDK
• Experience consuming REST APIs and handling JSON
• Understanding of app lifecycle, background tasks, and performance optimization

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Combine or RxSwift
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for iOS
• Basic knowledge of backend architectures (Node.js, Python)
