About the role
Keystone Digital is building a high‑performance mobile backend to power the upcoming launch of its app store offering. As a Java Developer you will bridge the mobile front‑end and server side, ensuring seamless data flow and low‑latency responses for the new "PulseSync" module.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful services in Java 17 for the PulseSync module, targeting iOS and Android clients.
- Integrate with AWS Lambda and DynamoDB for scalable event‑driven processing.
- Write JUnit and TestNG test suites, achieving 80%+ code coverage before the first beta release.
- Collaborate with the mobile team to define API contracts using OpenAPI 3.0 and generate client SDKs.
- Optimize database queries in MySQL for high‑throughput user analytics dashboards.
- Set up CI pipelines in GitHub Actions to automate builds, security scans, and deployments.
Must-have skills
- Strong Java development experience (Java 8+), preferably Java 17.
- Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and JPA/Hibernate.
- Hands‑on experience building REST APIs and consuming them from mobile clients.
- Solid understanding of MySQL performance tuning and schema design.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
Nice to have
- Exposure to Kotlin or Swift for mobile‑backend integration.
- Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
