About the role
Pinnacle Works is modernizing its core platform and needs a Java Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance services. You will work closely with product owners and architects to deliver clean, scalable code that supports rapid feature delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and enhance microservice APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Implement RESTful endpoints, data models, and integration layers
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions
- Collaborate with DevOps to deploy services in a cloud environment
Must-have skills
- Strong proficiency in Java (8+)
- Experience with Spring Boot and building microservices
- Understanding of RESTful API design and best practices
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL
