About the role

TechFlow Inc is building a scalable IoT platform to connect edge devices across multiple industries. We need an IoT Solutions Architect to design end‑to‑end architecture, define integration patterns, and ensure secure, reliable data flow.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document the overall IoT system architecture, including device onboarding, data ingestion, and analytics pipelines.
• Select and configure cloud services, edge gateways, and networking components to meet performance and security requirements.
• Develop reference implementations and proof‑of‑concepts for critical use cases.
• Collaborate with developers, security engineers, and product managers to align technical decisions with business goals.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies for the IoT ecosystem.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the implementation team.

Must-have skills

• Extensive experience designing large‑scale IoT solutions.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP) and security standards.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for device and cloud integration.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux‑based edge devices and containerization.
• Deep understanding of REST API design and management.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with edge AI frameworks.
• Experience with automated infrastructure provisioning tools.
