About the role

We are seeking a MongoDB Specialist to optimize our data layer for a high‑traffic SaaS product. You will design schemas, tune queries, and ensure data integrity while collaborating with developers across the stack.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable MongoDB schemas
• Perform query optimization and indexing
• Develop backup, restore, and monitoring strategies
• Work with API teams to integrate data services
• Document data models and best practices

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with MongoDB administration and performance tuning
• Proficiency in JavaScript and NodeJS for data scripts
• Understanding of data modeling and aggregation pipelines
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes deployments
• Knowledge of cloud database services (e.g., Atlas, AWS DocumentDB)
