About the role

NovaForge Tech is launching a critical product and needs to boost its test automation suite. The Node.js Developer will design and implement robust automation scripts to cut regression risk before each release.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain end‑to‑end test frameworks using Node.js and popular libraries
• Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines for continuous feedback
• Collaborate with QA engineers to identify flaky tests and improve coverage
• Document test cases, results, and best practices for the team
• Provide quick triage of failures and suggest code quality improvements

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Node.js and Express
• Proficiency in JavaScript for test scripting
• Hands‑on with REST API testing and validation
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

Nice to have

• Experience with Mocha, Jest, or Cypress
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker)
• Background in performance testing
