Key Responsibilities

• Translate a variety of content from English into target languages, ensuring that all translations are accurate, culturally relevant, and free of errors.
• Collaborate with our team of linguists and project managers to ensure that all translations meet our high standards of quality and are delivered on time.
• Utilize industry-standard translation tools and software, including CAT tools, to streamline the translation process and enhance productivity.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure that all translations are culturally sensitive and contextually appropriate for the target audience.
• Review and edit translations for clarity, grammar, and consistency, adhering to our quality control processes and style guides.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of client preferences, brand voices, and specific terminology requirements.
• Participate in testing and evaluation of new translation tools and technologies to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including translation memories and terminology databases.
• Foster open communication with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure that project deliverables meet expectations and are aligned with project objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of translation and localization.
• Adhere to our quality management system, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the development of translation glossaries, style guides, and other linguistic resources to support our translation services.
• Assist in the mentoring and training of junior translators or new team members as necessary.

Requirements

• A degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field, with a focus on languages and cultural studies.
• At least 2 years of experience in translation, preferably in a professional services or agency environment.
• Fluent in English and at least one other language, with native or near-native proficiency in the target language.
• Proficiency in industry-standard translation software and CAT tools, with experience in using these tools to manage translation projects.
• Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong research skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex information and cultural contexts.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and deliverables.
