About the role
Harbor Softworks is building a robust data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a QA Software Tester to ensure data integrity, performance, and reliability across the end‑to‑end flow.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases for ETL jobs, APIs, and dashboards.
- Validate data quality, schema compliance, and latency thresholds.
- Collaborate with data engineers to embed testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Report defects, track root causes, and verify fixes.
- Maintain test documentation and metrics for continuous improvement.
Must-have skills
- Strong experience in QA testing of data‑centric applications.
- Proficiency with Selenium for UI automation.
- Hands‑on automation scripting and test framework development.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of Python or Java for test automation.
