About the role

BlueSky Ventures is preparing a major product launch and needs to lift test automation for its React Native app. The goal is to lower regression risk and speed up release cycles. You will design, implement, and integrate automated UI and integration tests that run on both Android and iOS devices.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a scalable test automation framework using JavaScript and industry‑standard tools.
• Write end‑to‑end tests covering core user flows and edge cases.
• Integrate tests into CI pipelines and ensure reliable reporting.
• Collaborate with developers to embed test hooks and improve code testability.
• Document test strategies and provide knowledge transfer to the internal QA team.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React Native development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript test frameworks (e.g., Jest, Detox, Appium).
• Hands‑on knowledge of Android and iOS testing ecosystems.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable test code and troubleshoot flaky tests.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
• Experience with performance testing for mobile apps.
• Background in behavior‑driven development (BDD) approaches.
