About the role

We are extending a multi‑tenant B2B product with new API capabilities. The project demands a focused REST API Developer who can design, implement, and document endpoints that serve multiple clients while preserving isolation and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable RESTful services for tenant‑specific data access
• Implement authentication and authorization layers using JWT and role‑based checks
• Write PostgreSQL queries and migrations to support tenant schemas
• Ensure API versioning and backward compatibility across releases
• Collaborate with product owners to translate feature specs into technical tasks
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for security and error handling

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals and async programming
• Hands‑on work with PostgreSQL, including indexing and performance tuning
• Understanding of multi‑tenant architecture patterns

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or containerized deployments
• Experience with API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
