About the role

Pinecrest Systems is enhancing its operations data pipeline. We need a REST API Developer to design and extend services that feed analytics dashboards for our ops teams. The work focuses on reliable data ingestion, transformation, and exposure via clean endpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and document RESTful APIs for data collection and reporting
• Integrate PostgreSQL storage with NodeJS services, ensuring performance and security
• Collaborate with data engineers to align API contracts with pipeline schemas
• Write unit and integration tests, and maintain CI pipelines
• Monitor API health and troubleshoot production issues quickly

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Strong JavaScript coding practices
• Hands‑on work with PostgreSQL databases
• Understanding of data pipeline concepts and analytics enablement

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and serverless functions
• Experience with message queues or streaming services
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks
