Senior AWS Cloud Engineer Needed for Mission-Critical Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

CoreData Systems is launching a critical product and needs an AWS Cloud Engineer to uplift test automation. You will design and integrate automated test frameworks that cut regression risk and accelerate release confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Build CI/CD pipelines in AWS CodePipeline to trigger automated test suites.
• Containerize test environments using Docker and orchestrate with ECS or EKS.
• Develop reusable test scripts in Python or Bash for API, UI, and performance checks.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to embed testing early in the development flow.
• Monitor test outcomes, generate reports, and refine flaky test detection.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Solid DevOps background, including IaC and pipeline automation.
• Linux system administration and scripting expertise.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with testing frameworks like pytest, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
• Knowledge of security scanning in CI pipelines.
