Senior AWS Cloud Engineer Needed for Multi-Region Cost Optimization

About the role

CoreData Systems is launching a critical product and needs an AWS Cloud Engineer to lead a test automation uplift. The goal is to reduce regression risk before launch by building scalable, reliable test pipelines in the cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD workflows for automated test suites on AWS.
• Containerize test environments using Docker and orchestrate with ECS or EKS.
• Integrate test results into monitoring dashboards and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test coverage criteria.
• Document infrastructure as code and hand over knowledge to internal ops.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, CodePipeline).
• Proficient in Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Strong DevOps mindset with CI/CD automation.
• Solid Linux administration and scripting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with test frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress or Robot Framework.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with performance testing and load generation.
