About the role

Cascade Apps is modernizing its release process to cut regression risk. We need a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune automated test pipelines that validate code before launch. You will work closely with QA and development teams to embed test automation into our CI workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Build end‑to‑end CI pipelines on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes
• Integrate automated test suites (unit, integration, UI) into the pipeline
• Configure reusable pipeline templates and shared libraries
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability
• Document pipeline architecture and best practices for the team

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
• Hands‑on AWS services (ECS, CodeBuild, CodePipeline)
• Solid understanding of test automation frameworks
• Infrastructure‑as‑code mindset (Terraform or CloudFormation)

Nice to have

• Experience with performance testing integration
• Knowledge of security scanning in pipelines
• Familiarity with Python or Bash scripting for custom steps
