About the role

Harbor Softworks is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to embed security controls while ensuring the systems stay fast and stable under load.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current security posture of web services and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Implement hardening measures that do not degrade latency.
• Conduct threat modeling focused on reliability‑related attack vectors.
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security testing into CI pipelines.
• Produce concise reports and remediation plans for stakeholders.

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of network security and application hardening.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting security checks.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux hardening and monitoring tools.
• Ability to balance security with performance requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with container security and orchestration.
• Knowledge of incident response and reliability engineering.
