About the role

DataPro Services is launching a focused security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a DevOps Engineer who can blend automation expertise with security best practices to protect our infrastructure and reduce attack surface.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing CI/CD pipelines and identify security gaps
• Implement automated hardening scripts for Docker images and Kubernetes clusters
• Configure AWS security controls, IAM policies, and network segmentation
• Integrate vulnerability scanning and compliance checks into the deployment workflow
• Document hardening standards and provide knowledge transfer to the internal team

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS security services (GuardDuty, Config, IAM)
• Hands‑on expertise in Docker and Kubernetes hardening
• Proficient in building secure CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar)
• Solid understanding of cloud‑native security frameworks and compliance
• Ability to write IaC scripts (Terraform, CloudFormation) with security focus

Nice to have

• Experience with security tooling such as Snyk, Trivy, or Aqua
• Familiarity with secret management solutions (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager)
• Previous work on SOC‑2 or ISO‑27001 compliance projects
