About the role

Silverline Labs is undertaking a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, implement, and fine‑tune container orchestration that maximizes uptime and latency targets.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Kubernetes clusters and identify bottlenecks.
• Refactor Helm charts and Dockerfiles for optimal resource usage.
• Implement auto‑scaling policies and health‑check probes.
• Integrate monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana) and logging pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers to embed best‑practice CI/CD patterns.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with Docker containerization.
• Advanced Kubernetes administration (v1.20+).
• Proven DevOps mindset and automation expertise.

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
• Knowledge of cloud provider managed K8s (EKS, GKE, AKS).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools.
