About the role

Orbit Labs is preparing a major product launch and needs a GraphQL API Developer to uplift test automation and lower regression risk. You will design, implement, and integrate robust GraphQL services that feed automated test suites and support rapid validation cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop GraphQL endpoints for core platform features
• Integrate GraphQL with existing React front‑ends and NodeJS back‑ends
• Build test automation hooks that query GraphQL to verify business logic
• Collaborate with QA engineers to define regression coverage and reporting
• Document schemas, resolvers, and test strategies for future teams

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building production GraphQL APIs
• Strong JavaScript/NodeJS expertise
• Hands‑on with React integration and state management
• Understanding of REST API concepts and migration patterns
• Experience designing automated tests for API contracts

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for test automation
• Knowledge of performance testing tools for GraphQL
