Senior Identity Access Management Specialist – Audit Readiness

About the role

Northbay Systems is revamping its legacy production platform to achieve zero‑downtime releases. As an Identity Access Management Specialist you will lead the security redesign for the new AstraVault module, ensuring seamless user provisioning and robust access controls during the transition.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RBAC and ABAC policies for AstraVault using AWS IAM and HashiCorp Vault.
• Integrate SAML and OIDC federation with existing on‑prem Active Directory and Azure AD.
• Automate user lifecycle workflows in CI/CD pipelines with Terraform and GitLab CI.
• Conduct zero‑downtime migration drills, validating session continuity and audit logging.
• Develop custom scripts in Python to reconcile legacy permissions and generate compliance reports.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps engineers to embed MFA and conditional access in the deployment process.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with IAM frameworks (AWS IAM, Azure AD, SAML, OIDC).
• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Strong knowledge of Linux security hardening and audit logging.
• Hands‑on experience securing micro‑services architectures.
• Ability to design zero‑downtime migration strategies.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Zero Trust networking concepts.
• Experience with security incident response tooling.
