About the role

NexGen Media is gearing up for a high‑visibility app store launch and needs a senior iOS App Developer to bridge the mobile front‑end with backend services. You will shape the "PulseSync" module, ensuring seamless data flow and performance across the upcoming release.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the PulseSync networking layer using Swift Concurrency and Combine.
• Integrate RESTful APIs from the backend team, handling authentication, caching, and error recovery.
• Set up CI pipelines in GitHub Actions for automated build, test, and deployment to TestFlight.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts and perform contract testing with Postman.
• Optimize app launch time and memory footprint to meet App Store performance guidelines.
• Deliver a functional prototype of the PulseSync module within the first six weeks.

Must-have skills

• Expertise in Swift 5+, UIKit/SwiftUI, and Xcode.
• Strong experience with REST API integration, JSON parsing, and authentication flows.
• Proficiency in unit and UI testing using XCTest.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Bitrise.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL or gRPC services.
• Knowledge of analytics integration (Firebase, Mixpanel).
