About the role
BlueSky Ventures is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay live 24/7. We need a .NET Core Developer to refactor critical services, introduce containerization, and implement zero‑downtime deployment patterns.
Key responsibilities
- Rewrite legacy .NET components to .NET Core 8
- Design and implement blue‑green or canary release pipelines
- Integrate Azure services for scaling and monitoring
- Write automated tests to ensure functional parity
- Collaborate with QA and Ops to validate zero‑downtime goals
Must-have skills
- 5+ years developing with .NET Core and C#
- Deep knowledge of Azure App Services, Functions, and DevOps
- Experience with CI/CD, container orchestration, and zero‑downtime strategies
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Terraform or ARM templates
- Background in performance tuning legacy monoliths
