About the role

NexGen Media is boosting its test automation framework to cut regression risk before each product launch. We need a TypeScript Developer who can design, extend, and stabilize automated test suites across multiple front‑end stacks.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a modular TypeScript test library compatible with Angular and React apps
• Integrate the library into CI pipelines to run nightly regression sweeps
• Refactor flaky tests and introduce robust selectors and data‑driven patterns
• Collaborate with QA leads to define coverage metrics and reporting dashboards
• Document test patterns and provide knowledge transfer sessions for the wider team

Must-have skills

• Strong TypeScript expertise with 3+ years building test code
• Hands‑on experience in Angular and React test environments (e.g., Protractor, Cypress, Jest)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Ability to write clear, maintainable, and performant test scripts

Nice to have

• Background in performance or load testing
• Experience with visual regression tools
• Knowledge of API testing frameworks
