About the role

BlueSky Ventures is revamping its customer‑facing services to boost performance and reliability. As a Vue.js Frontend Developer you will lead the front‑end redesign of the "SkyPulse" dashboard, ensuring snappy load times and robust error handling. This short‑term engagement focuses on delivering a high‑performance UI that scales under heavy traffic.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor existing Vue components in the SkyPulse module to use Vue 3 composition API and TypeScript.
• Implement lazy‑loading and code‑splitting strategies with Webpack to reduce initial bundle size below 200KB.
• Integrate performance monitoring tools (Lighthouse, Web Vitals) and set up automated regression tests in Cypress.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to optimize API payloads and implement client‑side caching with IndexedDB.
• Conduct load testing simulations and fine‑tune rendering pipelines to meet sub‑200 ms response targets.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Vue.js (Vue 2 & 3) and Vuex state management.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid).
• Hands‑on with build tools like Webpack/Vite and performance profiling.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and async data handling.
• Ability to write unit and integration tests using Jest or Cypress.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript in Vue projects.
• Knowledge of server‑side rendering (Nuxt.js) for SEO optimization.
