Senior CI/CD Pipeline Engineer – Cloud Migration

About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching an integration project that ties together its billing platform, CRM system, and several internal APIs. We need a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design, implement, and automate the end‑to‑end delivery workflow that supports rapid, reliable releases across these services. The role focuses on building a resilient pipeline that can handle multi‑service deployments while maintaining strict compliance and auditability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a unified CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent
• Containerize billing, CRM, and API services with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and performance checks into the pipeline
• Configure AWS resources (ECS/EKS, CodePipeline, S3) to host the pipeline and artifacts
• Document pipeline design, runbooks, and handover procedures for the internal team

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines for multi‑service environments
• Deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS DevOps services
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation
• Understanding of billing and CRM data flows and API versioning

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
• Background in security compliance (PCI, GDPR) for financial integrations
