About the role

LumenWorks is launching a CI/CD sprint to accelerate platform releases. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design automated data pipelines, embed schema migrations into our deployment flow, and ensure high‑throughput queries stay performant during rapid rollouts.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement MongoDB automation scripts for schema versioning.
• Integrate database health checks into Jenkins/GitHub Actions pipelines.
• Collaborate with DevOps to containerize MongoDB instances for staging environments.
• Optimize indexes and query patterns for CI‑driven feature toggles.
• Document best‑practice guidelines for future sprint teams.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with MongoDB clustering and sharding.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for CI/CD tasks.
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes basics.
• Strong problem‑solving and performance‑tuning abilities.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Datadog.
• Previous work on automated rollback strategies for databases.
